Our Elements seat stars in Cathay Pacific’s new business class cabin
In October 2024, Cathay Pacific unveiled its new Aria Suite as part of a larger cabin refresh program.
Central to this new passenger experience is a customized version of Collins’ Elements seat, which was tailored to align with the airline’s overall cabin design aesthetics. The customizations are also based on the airline’s deep understanding of passenger needs from a seat during the in-flight experience.

The seat features a neutral color palette and is configured in a 1-2-1 reverse herringbone layout, giving all passengers aisle access
The suite features the seating platform's signature 'halo' feature that maintains privacy while keeping the height of the outer shell lower
A door fully encloses the suite to maximize privacy
The geometries of the suite optimize areas that affect passenger movement, which in turn increases comfort
Storage areas within the suite feature a splash of Cathay's signature green
The seating platform accommodates a large 24-inch IFE screen
Inboard suites feature a privacy divider that can be lowered for passengers traveling together.
The seat's control panel features novel "activity modes" like "movie," "dine," and "sleep." At the push of a button, the seat and lighting automatically adjust based on the selected mode
Additional storage can be accessed by sliding a top panel to reveal a shallow cubby
The suite's top panel also features convenient wireless charging
