The Secant Luminous Panel is taking flight on STARLUX Airlines’ A350 fleet, the launch customer for the micro-LED-based lighting technology that seamlessly embeds within cabin surfaces.
Background: A 2018 Crystal Cabin Award finalist, Secant transforms the understated palette that typically dominates the walls, ceilings and monuments inside aircraft into dynamic, beautifully illuminated displays. Alternate applications could include video content of scenery or even skyscapes implemented on the ceiling to expand the passenger perception beyond the physical constraints of the cabin.
